Lingua Ecclesiae is the first intensive summer course, specifically dedicated to ecclesiastics.
The course consists in 100 recorded video-lessons on demand and 5 online lessons via live streaming with a teacher. The first live streaming lesson is held on the first Friday of the course: the teacher leads students to the study of Latin with the IISC methodology and explains the topic of the first chapter of the textbook. Students then receive a link to the recorded video-lessons which they should study and view autonomously during the week. Every Friday, students may attend the live streaming lesson in order to ask questions to the teacher and solve their doubts. They can also actively practice the language through exercises given by the professor.
At the end of each lesson, students receive the link with the video-lessons of the following week. The course ends with the final live streaming lesson on the last Friday of the course. Both the recorded video-lessons and the live streaming lessons are held completely in Latin. The professor guides the students in speaking in Latin, since the first day of classes, following a specific methodology.
